CryoGrip Cold-Print Build Plate — for Creality K1 / K1C

Print strong first layers at room temperature—no glue, no hairspray, no fuss. This CryoGrip-coated spring-steel plate outperforms traditional PEI, so you can keep the auxiliary fan on, fight warping, and still achieve excellent adhesion even in drafty rooms or open-frame use.

Key features

• Room/low-temp adhesion – Reliable PLA at 0–50 °C (room temp works in many setups) and PETG at just 50–70 °C for lower power use.

• Fewer heat-creep clogs – Cooler chamber temps help reduce nozzle jams from heat build-up during long, fast prints.

• Pop-off release – Flex the spring-steel sheet and parts release cleanly—no scraping required.

• Warp-resistant first layers – Strong edge hold keeps brims and large parts flat.

• Draft-tolerant – Print with the aux fan on; airflow won’t easily break first-layer grip.

• Water-only cleaning – Rinse with water only to restore like-new grip. Do not use IPA, alcohol, acetone, or detergents.

Recommended settings

• PLA: Bed 0–50 °C (try 30–40 °C if your room is cool).

• PETG: Bed 50–70 °C.

• Not recommended: ABS and TPU on this surface.

• Also suitable for printers that match the selected size and use a magnetic flex-plate system. (Choose the correct size for your machine.)

  (Magnetic base not included—use your stock K-series magnetic base.)

Setup & care

1. Attach to your magnetic base (coated side up), then re-level and set Z-offset.

2. Avoid touching the surface with oily hands; if adhesion drops, rinse with water only and dry.

3. Let the plate cool after printing, then flex to release.
