Fil-X SBS Filament 1.75mm Black is a tough, engineering-grade filament designed for parts that require improved impact resistance and slight flexibility compared to standard PLA. While not a flexible material like TPU, SBS offers enhanced durability and reduced brittleness.

Commonly used in applications where strength and resilience matter, Fil-X SBS Filament 1.75mm Black combines the structural stability of polystyrene with the toughness of polybutadiene. This results in strong layer adhesion, excellent impact resistance, and dependable extrusion performance.

The deep black finish provides a clean, professional appearance suitable for enclosures, brackets, protective housings, and functional components that experience mechanical stress.

One of the key advantages of SBS is that it can be chemically smoothed using d-limonene, allowing you to achieve a refined and glossy surface finish.
