ASA is known for its durability and resistance to UV radiation, making it suitable for outdoor applications. It has better weather resistance compared to PLA, making it a good choice for parts that will be exposed to sunlight.

ASA requires higher printing temperatures than PLA. The nozzle temperature is usually in the range of 230°C to 270°C, and the heated bed temperature is around 90°C to 110°C.

Printing ASA is best done in a well-ventilated area or with an enclosure to prevent warping and improve layer adhesion. It emits fumes during printing, so proper ventilation is important.

Like ABS, ASA can be prone to warping, especially if the print bed is not heated adequately. Using an adhesion aid like a raft or brim and applying a layer of ABS juice (dissolved ABS in acetone) to the print bed can help reduce warping.
